1.) Did someone read to you when you were a child (who, what, when, where, why)?
I don't remember well, but my mum used to read to me. It didn't happen often as my parents were both working... I could read since I was four, so I guess I was doing my own reading...I think she was reading to me when I was sick in bed; it was Russian fairytales.
2.) What's the first book you remember reading that had a lasting effect on you?
One of the first Jungle Tales of Tarzan by Edgar Rice Burroughs. And other novels by Obruchev (about dinosaurs and mammoths).
3.) What genre(s) do you love?
Normally, I read everything. I don't like romance and Sci-Fi much.
4.) Has a book ever changed your life?
I think each book changes me in some way. I love to follow the story, analyze cadasters, and think about what I would have done in the given situation. I love to learn new things from nonfiction! Reading is my dope!
5.) What attracts you to a book? The cover? Podcast? Recommendation from others?I love pretty covers and catchy annotations. Lately, I've been following up on recommendations as well—like from you, guys! Thanks for your questions.
